Blossom Event

Blossom sessions are one of my most sought after offerings of the whole year. These gorgeous trees are only in bloom for about a week, so availability for this event is extremely limited.

My goal is to create timeless imagery for your family, and for you to walk away with gorgeous heirloom artwork showcasing your memories in the form of wall art, albums and prints.

Event is scheduled to run May 9th through 14th, but may need to be shifted depending on the bloom schedule this year. Sessions are 30 minutes and are booked during golden hour to ensure the prettiest light.

Your session fee includes a 30 minute session at a gorgeous exclusive private property of pink blossom trees.
We will have enough time for your children to get comfortable with me, while capturing both posed and candid setups throughout the beautiful trees.

We will work together prior to the session to address any details or concerns, including scheduling, specific requests, children's needs, outfit selection, and your overall end goal for the imagery.

Following the session we will have an in-person ordering appointment where you will select your images and which products/digital files you would like to purchase.
Products and files are not included in the session fee.

golden hour

Golden hour is the last hour in the evening before the sun goes down. The light at this time of day is by far the prettiest and most flattering, and for this reason, this is the only time I will photograph these orchard sessions.

In early/mid May the sun sets at approximately 8:30pm. My blossom sessions run from 7pm-8:30pm (only 3 sessions per evening) to guarantee the best possible lighting conditions. Sorry, no exceptions.

If the forecast isn't looking like it's going to cooperate with us, I will contact you prior to your session to discuss rescheduling.

Overcast skies are good for photography, but if there is a decent chance of rain then we will have no choice but to re-book. Another factor that sometimes comes up is high winds or heavy rain dropping the blossoms on the trees. This may cause us to need to do the sessions sooner than planned.

I will be in touch every step of the way to keep you informed.

Blossom sessions are 30 minutes in length, and take place during golden hour just before the sun sets. There are only 3 time slots available each evening.

In the event that the trees bloom earlier or later than anticipated we may need to reschedule your chosen date and time. I will keep you updated if schedule adjustments are needed.

Time slots are first come first served.
Full session fee is due to book.
Session fee is non-refundable.
