Bethany and Nick are getting married in a few months so I met up with them earlier this week at the beach for their engagement session.  It was the most beautiful summer evening and I had a blast with these two!  I can’t wait for the wedding!!

Bethany tells the story of how she and Nick met:
“Okay, sit tight because this is a long one! March 2009, Bethany went to the University of Toronto Kinesiology open house. While waiting for the information session to start, she noticed she was the only person sitting by themselves. Just as the session started, Nick walked in solo, and asked to sit beside her. They hit it off right away and chatted the whole time. At the end of the information session, they promised to find each other on Facebook. However, they were so focused on flirting that neither person remembered to get the other’s last name! ODP (essentially a mandatory U of T Kin/Phys Ed camping trip) was scheduled for end of August 2009. Bethany had decided to accept her offer and pursue her degree in Toronto. She was dropped off at the athletic centre by her dad, who helped cultivate her obsession with Starbucks that morning, by buying her a coffee for the road. She knew no one in the program, other than the boy she had met at the information session five months earlier. Stepping out of Starbucks, she nearly walked right into Nick. Eight years later, and the rest is history!”
