Friday I had the pleasure of capturing Carolyn and Matt’s wedding day … and Saturday I received this wonderful email from them!!
“Working with you was an absolute PLEASURE! I feel like Matt and I clicked from the first time we met nearly a year ago. Matt and I were both blown away by your ability to get sh*t done. Photos are such an important part of the day because after its all said and done, that is what you have to look back on. But at the same time they can be a bit of a time sucker too – no one wants to stand outside all day doing formal photos…we have a party to go to! You made the process so easy and streamlined, you knew exactly what shots you wanted, what shots we wanted and you knew just how to get it done and have fun with it. I would HIGHLY recommend you to anyone needing a photographer.”

I absolutely love these two!!  And their rockstar of a son Easton goes down in history as the BEST behaved baby in the entire universe!

I asked them to describe their overall experience of the wedding day…
“SO. MUCH. FUN! We are SO pleased with how everything went.  You put all of this work into planning an event and you hope that it goes well and that the weather will cooperate and everyone will have fun and enjoy the day, but when it actually happens its such a great feeling.  We received so many compliments on every part of the event and it is nice to know everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did.  There’s something so nice about having all of your friends and family in one place cheering you on – we are so lucky!”

Tell me about your bridal party…
“Tarah has been my best friend for almost 20 years.  We have been through it all together and there’s no way I could get married without her by my side.  As soon as we decided to only have 1 party member on each side, Matt knew his Best Man had to be Josh.  Even though he’s not even a little bit funny.”

Tell me about your first dance song and why you chose it…
“Our first dance song was Arkells – And Then Some. Matt and I are huge Arkells fans and went to see them in Toronto last year (Easton was there too but we didn’t know). They played the acoustic version of the song and had everyone wave their flashlights back and forth and we fell in love with the song. The song is about loving someone regardless of where they have come from and there is a line that says “and this love came so easily” and we think that describes us pretty well.  ”
