September 20, 2018
Caitlin and Jarred got married on September 8th and they have been SO patient waiting for me to get this blog post up!
You both have the sweetest souls! It was a true pleasure working with you!
And without further ado …
I asked Caitlin to tell me about her dress…
“I wanted to go for a traditional look with the long sleeves and lace. I remember feeling like a queen when I first tried on that dress. My sister and I looked at each other and said, “this is the dress”. The designer is Eddy K and the dress was originally designed to have 3/4 length sleeves, but I requested full length sleeves.”
I asked Caitlin to describe the moment her and Jarred saw each other for the first time on the wedding day…
“I was trying not to look at Jarred because I knew he would make me cry! However, once my dad gave Jarred my hand, I felt calm.”
What was your first dance song and why did you choose it?
“My First My Last My Everything by Barry White. Jarred and I knew we wanted to have a fun first dance and we had been debating different songs for over a year. A month before our wedding, I heard this song on the radio and I was dancing in my chair. I sent Jarred a link to the song, asking him what he thought. He said it was his favourite Barry White song. The lyrics are perfect for us and the song gives off a great vibe!”
Have an amazing time on your European honeymoon Jarred and Caitlin!!
Safe travels!!
xoxo, Melissa
