Tell me about your dress…
“My dress was so beautiful! it was a strapless, ivory lace gown with a lace button up jacket. I got it at Lovebird Bridal in Kingston, and they were amazing. The dress (I hope) was elegant and classic, and surprisingly comfortable!”

“Walking up to Nick for our first look was the only time that I was nervous that whole day. It was a tidal wave of happy emotions when we saw each other for the first time, and it really sunk in that we were committing to each other for the rest of our lives. It was a wonderfully intimate moment and I cant wait to see the photos that were captured of it.”
Tell me about your bridal party and why you had them stand up for you…
“Our bridal party are some of our closest friends, who have been there for us through thick and thin. They are hilarious, genuine and some of the kindest people you will meet. We both have a special relationship with everyone who stood beside us on Sunday, but the common thread is that they are the people who have been there for us by choice through it all, and we honestly couldn’t have envisioned it any other way. Special mention goes to the flower girl, Jean, who is Bethany’s nana. She has been an important part of Bethany’s life growing up, and we wanted her to be a part of this day as more than a grandparent.”

I asked Bethany what her favourite moment of the whole day was…
“I think walking down the isle and seeing my absolute favourite people standing beside my almost husband was pretty special. That and our first dance I think were my favourite parts of the day.”
What was your first dance song and why did you choose it?…
“Our first dance song was And Then Some by Arkells. We are both big fans of the band and thought it was appropriate because they are from Hamilton originally. It also describes parts of our relationship pretty well. We always make sure to tell the other that we miss and love each other everyday, especially when we’re apart.”
DJ was Spirit of Sound.
How would you describe your overall wedding day experience?…
“It absolutely flew by, but it was honestly the most fun and amazing experience. I can say with 100% honesty that it was the happiest day of my life, and that even though I was stressed leading up to it, the day was so relaxed and fun that it made everything worth it.”
