Gary and Lindsay tied the knot in Niagara Falls last weekend and I was blessed to share in their day with them! Surrounded by their awesome friends and loving family … it was a perfect day! We started at Hairon’s Nest Salon in Niagara Falls where all of the girls were getting their hair and makeup done.
I’m so jealous of your hair Lindsay!!
The team at Hairon’s Nest did a fantastic job on all of the girls’ do’s!!
Then we hurried over to Gary and Lindsay’s place where the boys were getting ready.
It takes a secure man to wear pink Gary … and you totally pulled it off!! : )
Lindsay and Gary are both baseball lovers so it only seemed fitting to incorporate the sport into their special day. The groomsmen all received engraved bats … very unique and creative!
After the guys were ready we scooted over to Lindsay’s parents’ house where we met up with the girls again.
Lindsay thought of all the little personal touches! Personalized hangers for all of the dresses … how thoughtful!
If you look closely you’ll notice that Gary’s wedding band was custom designed with engraved lacing to look like a baseball … so clever and well executed!!
Along with baseball, Lindsay loves all things Disney princess!! She was able to incorporate a Disney feel into her day in the most tasteful way … from her poufy, sparkling ballgown to the customized bows that she attached to each girls’ shoes symbolizing the princess that resembled them most.
Lindsay of course got the pale blue Cinderella bows … and don’t they look smashing on her Kate Spade glitter pumps!!
For this wedding I got to witness a first look of a different kind. Instead of doing a first look with her husband-to-be, Lindsay wanted to do a first look with her bridesmaids … it was just as special!! : )
And of course we can’t forget about Cinderella’s little companion Prince Charming … he couldn’t wait to see mom in her sparkly dress either!
When everyone was ready we headed over to the church for the ceremony …
… even Prince Charming joined us to witness the vows.
Despite the unfortunate weather, we pressed on to do the formal photos at Niagara Botanical Gardens.
I so appreciated how wonderfully this whole bridal party cooperated. Even with rain actively falling on their heads and a cold wind freezing their legs, you wouldn’t be able to tell for a moment by the pictures. Thanks for being such troopers girls!!!
I might get some of these wrong, as I’m rusty on my princesses, but I’m going to give it a try …
Left to right … not sure, Ariel, Snow White, Cinderlla, Aurora, Rapunzel, Belle
I have a daughter, I should know this stuff, right? Lol.
The guys didn’t want to be left out of the fun shoe shots …
Lindsay hand made her pink layered petticoat … things got lost under her dress … literally.
Thank you for braving the rain Gary and Lindsay … these pictures made it all worth it!!
After the Botanical Gardens we went over to the Secret Garden by the falls for a few more formals …
Then we were off to the reception which was held at Shiraz Ballroom. The personal touches continued into the reception decor with custom baseball cake toppers in Gary and Lindsay’s rivalry teams …
The ring bearer got Lindsay to join in on some Spiderman web action, hehe!
Best cake cut/smash ever!! You guys rock!! : )
I had such a wonderful time sharing in your day Lindsay and Gary! I can’t thank you enough for having me!
Make lots of great memories in your beautiful new home as husband and wife!
xoxo, Melissa
