Derek and Natalie were married at the Inn on the Twenty in Jordan. What a lovely little town!! I’m not a fan of winter myself, but the quaint town of Jordan with it’s shops sprinkled in clean white snow was very romantic … I had a blast shooting this wedding!! Derek and Natalie are one of those couples that quickly go from clients to friends … it was such a pleasure sharing in their day … I really enjoyed reliving it while preparing this blog post.
Natalie and her girls got ready in one of the beautiful rooms at the Inn on the Twenty, where the ceremony and reception also took place.
How special is this custom ring box … I was in heaven!!
Natalie requested a photo of her engagement ring along side her mom’s and her grandma’s … so sweet!!
Beauty is pain ladies … beauty is pain!! Lol.
Derek and the guys got ready at a hotel just down the street. It was so nice to have everything so close together. : )
Derek and Natalie decided to do a first look so that we could do all of their formal photos before the ceremony … aren’t they just the cutest!!
This seating chart blew my mind … I have no words …
It was chilly outside, so we hustled with pictures … but nevertheless these girls were such troopers out in the cold!! Thanks ladies!!
These guys just crack me up. “But of course we HAVE to take a picture with the ostrich … of COURSE!!” Lol!
We took a little break inside for a few minutes to get warm and grab some winery pictures ….
Derek, you’re such a character!!
This couple thought outside the box in so many ways, but this might just be my favourite … two adult flower girls and an adult ring bearer! They carried those signs with pride and looked stunning doing it! Throw tradition out the window people … make your wedding a unique and memorable one … Natalie and Derek did an excellent job at that!
Russ the ring bearer … you presented those rings like a pro!!
Derek is a hard core plane enthusiast, so flying in with aviators on for their grand entrance fit just perfectly!
Such an awesome group of people!! Nat and Derek’s family and friends were so wonderful to be around!! The energy on the dance floor was non-stop …
Sorry Nat, I just had to … ; )
It was honestly a ginormous pleasure working with you guys!! I hope this isn’t the end of the road for us … please don’t be strangers!! (Umm, I kinda have a client crush on you, lol). I wish you all the best as you start this new chapter of your lives together!!
xoxo, Melissa
