I had the best time on Friday celebrating with Connor and Sarah at their beautiful winter wedding!  I’ve known these two for many years and I couldn’t be happier for them … they are perfect for each other!  It was such an honour and blessing to capture this special day for them … I will never forget it!

We started the day off at the best man’s house for some getting ready pictures of the guys.

Usually I see the pre-tied clip-on bow ties at weddings, these guys had the real deal … but did they know how to tie them? …

… not so much, lol.  Even after a very in-depth youtube video of a british chap talking them through every step, it was apparent that some assistance was going to be needed.

Connor looked dashing in his grey suit … as did little Andrew, the adorable ring bearer.

Then we were off to the bride’s house to capture her getting ready.  I loved all of Sarah’s details … everything suited her  so perfectly!

Sarah, you were just beaming in your gorgeous gown!  Simply stunning!!

Sarah did a “first-look” with her Dad … I was definitely holding back tears.  So sweet …

The ceremony was at Living Hope Church in Hamilton where Connor and Sarah (as well as my husband and I) met and grew up together.  With all of their friends and family present, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place as Sarah walked down the aisle to marry her best friend …

After the ceremony we headed to the Royal Botanical Gardens for the formal pictures.  This is a great picture location for winter weddings … it was actually hot inside the greenhouse.

The beautiful bridesmaids and handsome groomsmen were such a great group to work with.  Everyone was so helpful … which I appreciate very much!  It was a true pleasure …

The reception was held at the Waterfront Centre.  I loved all of the clean white details mixed with the rich purple and sparkly silver … it was a classy winter wonderland.

Another unique and fun detail this couple did was they had a friend and professional painter create a custom piece of art for their home, and she did it right there in the hall … very cool idea!

CONGRATULATIONS Sarah & Connor!!!  I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!!
