Frank and Amy got married this past weekend and I was lucky enough to be a part of their celebration. With their family and friends gathered for support and their 3 beautiful children by their sides, this awesome couple committed their lives to each other forever … and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! We started at Amy’s mom’s house where the girls were getting ready …
Amy’s dad was with her in spirit, and I’m sure he was looking down on her extremely proud of the beautiful life she has made for herself and her children.
This is 18 month old Christian, their youngest. He slept for a lot of the day, but I did get a few photo gems. Ugh … those curls …
And this is beautiful Ava (love that name) … she was pretty camera shy, but when I did catch her eye, she totally worked it … vogue style.
Amy you are gorgeous inside and out!! It was such a pleasure getting to know you …
Then we headed over to Frank’s parents’ house where the guys were getting ready. When possible I prefer to do the getting ready shots outside … the light is just so much nicer. This beautiful porch and front yard was the perfect backdrop for photos!
The ceremony was intimate and romantic. Amy’s step-father walked her down the aisle and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place.
I <3 churches with balconies!! Thanks to my awesome 2nd shooter Shawn for getting this shot. If you look closely you can see me “blending in” in the 2nd row on the right, hehe.
Amy’s oldest son Luca was the ring bearer and he did an awesome job!
Luca is such a little sweetheart! There were a few points during the day that I felt he was somewhat of an old soul with wisdom beyond his years. He had tears after the ceremony because he was so happy for his mom to have married such an amazing man. I don’t know any other 7 year old boys that are this sentimental … it was beautiful to watch.
I’m not gonna lie, this sibling shot did take a couple of head swaps, and unfortunately little Christian didn’t crack one smile for me, but I’m sure mom and dad will still adore it!!
Oh Mario … you certainly did provide us with much entertainment. One of the best “bestmen” I have ever worked with … and there have been many great ones. Thanks for making us laugh all day long Mario!!
We did all of the “formal” (I hate that word) shots at RBG. This is definitely one of the best wedding photo locations in the area … and all brides seem to agree. We spotted 4 other brides and their entourages taking pictures on the grounds at the same time as us …
Amy I just can’t get enough of your red hair!!
The reception was held at Michaelangelo’s Banquet Hall … believe it or not I actually haven’t shot a wedding there until now. The staff was great … the food was phenominal, and the room was stunning … I would highly recommend it.Frank and Amy’s friends and family really ripped it up on the dance floor. These folks sure do know how to party … : )
Congratulations Amy and Frank!! I wish you many happy years together and many blessings for your beautiful little family!
xoxo,
Melissa
