I think I’ve broken the record this time for how long it’s taken me to get Aylah’s birthday party blog post up, lol. This party was almost 4 months ago … Oops.
Aylah turned NINE in November! I can’t believe how fast she is growing up!
This arctic party was actually supposed to be for her eighth birthday but we had to pivot at the last minute due to Covid restrictions so I just tucked everything away and we were able to execute it to it’s fullest potential for her ninth birthday instead.
I have tried to link all of my sources below each picture that they pertain to, but feel free to shoot me an email if you have questions that are not answered in the text of this post.
I put together these DIY playmats for the kids’ favours. I will source all of the items below…
Playmats – custom painted by Aylah’s Gramee
Wooden mountains – crafted and stained by me
Crochet igloo – designed and made by me
Bottle brush trees – Michaels
Seaglass stones – Michaels
Large rocks – hand picked from the beach
Polar bears – Amazon
Penguins – Amazon
Pie boxes – Amazon
The blue metallic curtains are from Amazon.
The balloons are from Bargain Balloons.
The paper trees were hand made by me.
The penguin walker balloons are from Amazon.
The animal party hat templates are from TwoFish.
The seal plushies are from Amazon, but the listing is no longer available. This handmade (by me) game was inspired by this one. I do not have instructions on how to make this. It was a labour of love. 😉
I can tell you that I got the cube boxes from Uline and the mallets are from Amazon.
The kids (and grown men) had SUCH a blast playing this. Most fun party game we’ve ever done by far! Coffee cups with lids and sleeves are from Amazon. Gorgeous cake is from Bouchee Cupcake Cafe. Polar bear cookie cutter is from Amazon. Chili cups are from Amazon. Of course it wouldn’t be a complete Aylah party without an official photo shoot. 😉
