Tell us about your dress:

When I found my dress, it made me feel elegant. I was looking for a dress I could look back at and fall in love with again. The simplicity of the design made me shine through, and that’s how I knew it was the right match.

Describe the moment you saw each other for the first time:

Meghan – When the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle, I saw Chad standing there smiling, looking so handsome in his tux and bow tie. I was immediately filled with happiness and I was so excited to hold his hand. I thought in my head, “It’s time, we’re getting married!”

Chad – I was thankful that we hadn’t done a first look because nothing can compare to seeing your bride walking down the aisle for the first time. In the moment, I could only think about how lucky I was that we were really coming together.

What was one of your favourite moments of the whole wedding day:

Meghan – One of my favourite moments was when I walked down the aisle. I reached the end of the aisle, hugged my family and took Chad’s hand for the first time that day, in a beautiful chapel surrounded by friends and family. Surreal.

Chad – Watching the chapel doors open to reveal my stunning bride. It finally hit me that we had made it to the day and I just felt lucky that this beautiful woman was going to marry me.

Tell me about your bridal party and why you chose them to stand up with you:

They are all family or people we consider family. They really do stand up to support us every step of the way in our lives. They’ve made an impact on our lives, and we can’t wait to enjoy the moments to come in our future together.

What was your first dance song and why did you choose it:

Beyond by Leon Bridges

We both enjoy the artist Leon Bridges. We liked that this was a song that had a lot of meaning related to the day and that it was unique to us. We hadn’t heard other couples play this song before.

How would you describe your overall wedding day experience:

Everything we could have imagined. At one point during dinner time, we took a moment to look around at our reception room to observe what was happening. There was a buzz in the room. Family and friends were talking, smiling and laughing… having a great time. We are truly grateful for each other, and for our family and friends. We enjoyed every moment of our wedding day!
