Aylah has been asking for one of these motorized cars for a couple of years now and we were never willing to spend the $400+ on something she would outgrow so quickly, so we completely benched the idea.  Last summer I randomly came across a FB marketplace ad for this larger one (since she’s already 7 now we needed the even MORE expensive bigger ones) and it was a steal of a deal, albeit quite roughed up.  Craig and I took a full weekend completely refinishing the whole thing.  I ordered new headlights and decals online and we scrubbed the whole thing down and gave it a brand new paint job.  The whole project came in at under $150.  She had given up on the dream too so when she turned the corner this morning and saw it I think she was more shocked than excited, but the excitement came just seconds later.

We let her do some 83 point turns inside the garage today and she can’t wait to get it out on the “open road”, lol.

Fun fact … I wanted a black graphic tee for Craig to wear that would compliment his t-rex pajama pants … I could find no such thing.  Cricut to the rescue!

Mosby was taking in all of the smells … ALL of them! Hehe.

Remember that cute stuffed dog from a few scrolls ago?  Well here he is again, completely gutted (through the nose I might add) with his vicious predator standing over him.  He didn’t stand a chance. Rest is piece pup.

The whole family is SUPER excited about our new lego set!!  It’s the biggest we will probably ever have.  Lots of family fun ahead!

Hope everyone had a fantastic day today!!!  We are off to more family festivities early in the morning so this tired mama is gonna hit the hay.
