Dawn and Dan had the most perfect wedding day this past weekend, and I’m so honoured to have been a part of it!  I knew from the first time I met them that they were head-over-heels in love with each other.

We started the day at Mercedes Salon & Spa where the girls got all glammed up (not that they needed it) …

Then we hustled over to the house to get some shots of the guys getting ready.  What a great group of gentlemen!  You were all quite dashing …

We met back up with the ladies at the Carmen’s Hotel where they were finishing up getting ready.  Cheers!

Dan’s wedding gift to Dawn is definitely Melissa-approved!!  Hehe.

The lovely ceremony took place at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hamilton.

Then we went to McMaster University for some formal photos.  Beautiful venue … gorgeous weather … smashing bridal party … they made my job easy!!

Dawn’s girls sportin’ their cowboy boots!!  Love it!!

After formals we headed back to Carmen’s Hotel for the reception.  I loved all of Dawn’s decor choices and personal touches …

Dawn and Dan, I absolutely fell in love with your friends and family!!  Such wonderful people!!  Not surprising though … as they say, people are known for the company that they keep.

I had a fantastic time “working” with you guys, and I’m sure my 2nd shooters would say the same!  Big thanks to Shawn and Courtney for assisting me … many of these photographs are thanks to them!

Congratulations again Dan & Dawn!!  I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!!
