To say working with Mallory and Ken was a pleasure would be a huge understatement. After hanging out with them at their engagement session I already knew they were sweethearts but then getting to meet their families and close friends this past weekend showed me they surround themselves with amazing people as well! I’m kind of sad that their big day is over because I still want to hang out with all of these awesome people again, lol. 🙂
Mallory’s dress was gorgeous and was exactly what she had envisioned for herself.
Mallory – “My dress, what can I not say about it. Stella York is stunning, it’s simplicity and attention to detail make everything about it beautiful. I wanted something light weight, strapless, lace, small train to no train, and NOT white. I LOVE my dress. It’s light weight, strapless, lace, small train and it’s colour was ivory/oster. I added a small belt to it for some detailing and sparkle. I also loved the back of my dress, it had buttons from the top to the bottom of my train.”
Her gown was from Michelle My Belle Bridal Boutique.
Makeup done by Jenn at Be Simply Stunning.
These gorgeous invitations were done by Mallory’s talented sister-in-law. You can view her FB page here.
Decor was done by Stuff by Chris as well as many DIY projects by the bride and groom.
Cake is from Cake by Cheryl.
Ken speaks about seeing Mallory for the first time on the wedding day:
“The moment I saw my bride come around the corner I couldn’t help but smile because she looked so beautiful.”
Mallory speaks about seeing Ken for the first time on the wedding day:
“The moment I saw my groom standing there, I lost it! I couldn’t stop my tears because he looked so handsome and I was so excited to marry him.”
Mallory – “Our first dance was “That’s When You Know” by Chris Buck Band. We chose this, well, Ken actually picked it. Ken heard it one day on the radio and sent me the link to the YouTube video. When you hear it and it sounds like every word they sing is meant for you, that’s when you know it’s the one!”
I asked Ken and Mallory what was one of their very favourite moments of the day:
“One of our favourite moments of the whole day was when we got to sit at the head table, just as the salad was being brought out, and Ken and I took a deep breathe and looked around the room. We couldn’t believe that all these people were here for us.”
Congratulations Mallory and Ken!! I couldn’t be happier for you both!!

Melissa
