Last Saturday I spent the whole day with Tony and Kylie and their amazing family and friends! This group kept me on my toes and had me smiling and laughing all day long … like my cheeks were sore, literally! First we met up with Kylie and her girls for their hair and makeup appointments …
Then we went over to Tony’s mom’s house where the guys were getting ready. These cufflinks and ring belonged to Tony’s father so it was very special for him to wear them on his wedding day.
The girls got dressed at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel …
True story: Kylie was so upset when she realized that she forgot to bring her beloved cowboy boots for some country photos in her dress. Little did she know that Tony’s wedding gift to her was a brand spankin’ new pair! Cue waterworks … ; )
Kylie and her mom wore matching engraved bracelets. They have a very close relationship and even though Kylie’s dad walked her down the aisle, she wanted to feel like her mom was with her walking down the aisle too … cue more waterworks! Lol.
Okay … c’mon … could they be any cuter?? Ring security … ear pieces and all!
Once Tony started tearing up the whole place erupted. Not a dry eye to be seen! Both of these families wear their hearts on their sleeves and it was so refreshing to see!!
If I were to post all of the Tony-photo-bombs we would be here all day … but here is one of my favourites …
Go Kylie … Go Kylie …
Such a fun group!! Enjoyed every minute of it!!
Tony-photo-bomb numero dos.
Never a dull moment! These jokesters may or may not have been scolded for incurring grass stains as a result of this stunt.
We even had some excitement with a poisonous caterpillar trying to sneak up Kylie’s gown … sheesh!!
There were a few rain drops here and there on Saturday afternoon … but we didn’t let it get us down. Instead … we made lemonade and got some cute umbrella pictures.
Hold on … let me take a selfie …
The reception took place at Knollwood Golf Club … beautiful place!
Hand-burned centre pieces. LOVE!
And the kid’s table centerpieces were a bouquet of crayons and some fun activity books. Kylie really did think of everything!!
And this may be my favourite “guestbook” to date. Names written on sliced branches and displayed behind glass. A-freakin’-dorable!
Every image I have of Kylie is either her hysterically laughing, sweetly crying, or making a goofy face. It was a photographer’s dream! I just love this girl!!
And after the speeches we even had a couple of minutes to sneak out side and squeeze in a couple of golden hour shots.
Kylie & Tony,
All of my clients have a special place in my heart … and you guys are definitely no exception! I will never ever forget your wedding day!!
I’m so honoured that you chose me to capture it for you!!
xoxo, Melissa
