Melissa and Morgan have been so patient waiting for these teasers!
What a fun day this was!!  Beginning to end I felt like I was surrounded by people I had known forever … such welcoming family and friends!  I also got to work along side my buddy Sam from Hand2Eye again as he did their cinematography, which is always a pleasure!

Melissa talks about her dress…
“The designer is Kenneth Winston. It has ivory lace over cappuccino coloured underlay. I don’t wear dresses often so I wanted something that reflected that but would still make me feel elegant. It has beaded straps and low back with tons of lace detail all over. I added a belt to give it a little extra sparkle.”

I asked Melissa and Morgan to describe those moments just before they saw each other and how they were feeling…
Melissa – “I was so nervous my legs were shaking like crazy. It was surreal knowing that we’d been waiting so long for this day and having it finally happen.”
Morgan – “I felt as though it was everything I pictured and so much more. I was nervous but excited for what was to come.”

What was your favourite moment of the day?…
“Walking back down the aisle after the ceremony feeling all the love from our family and friends and the excitement that we were finally married.”

What was your first dance song and why did you choose it?…
“Speechless by Dan and Shay. It was really hard for us to narrow down a first dance song. For me most of my memories are triggered by a song that was playing that moment or a lyric that captures what happened so we knew the song choice would be important to the both of us and we wanted to make the right choice. We chose it because it spoke about still having that feeling of being speechless or breathless around each other, even after so much time passing. Morgan and I have known each other since elementary school and dated for 7 years. We felt as though this song captured all the love we still feel for each other and want it to remind us for years to come how we felt on that day.”

How would you describe your overall wedding day experience?…
“It went by so quickly! We had so many people tell us to remember to sit back and enjoy the little moments, which we did and it still felt like it all came and went so quickly. We knew not to stress over tiny details that in the grand scheme didn’t matter and simply enjoy the beauty of why everyone came together. We both felt so much love from everyone there that day. It was incredible and humbling to see how many people came together to celebrate us and how selfless our family and friends especially our immediate family and bridal party were that day and every day leading up to it.”
