Becky and Jay got hitched on the weekend and what an awesome day it was! I don’t think I have ever laughed so much at a wedding … these two have surrounded themselves with some of the craziest and funnest people … and no I don’t care that “funnest” isn’t a real word, lol.
Becky looked stunning in her whimsical feathery gown and Jay sported his pinstripe suit coat and brown loafers better than anyone else I know. Their ceremony, formal photos and reception were all held at the Greens at Renton golf course and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
How about I just let the photos tell the story of the day …
Becky and Jay opted to do a “first look” which is when the couple get a special private moment to see each other for the first time. We were then able to get all of the formal pictures out of the way before the ceremony, which is always great for logistics!
This next one is one of my faves for sure … look at that gorgeous dress!! Becky, it suited you perfectly!
After dinner we snuck outside for some sunset pictures … oh how I loves me some golden hour!!
Now this is a story I simply must tell …
After the speeches a projection screen lowered in the reception hall and a slide-show appeared. This is something I’ve seen done at many weddings … so I didn’t think anything of it. At the end of the slide-show a video started to play. As I witnessed Becky’s reaction and listened to the audio coming from behind me it all became very clear. Jay had videotaped him proposing to her a year a half ago … and judging by Becky’s reaction, I can only assume that she had no idea the video even existed. As the whole room watched and listened to the reciting of a heartfelt letter followed by his sincere request that she be his bride, there was not a dry eye in the place. I’m getting goosebumps right now just reliving it …
And then when all of the sappy romantic stuff was done … the party began. And boy … do these people all know how to PARTY!!!

Hi. I have to say you did a fantastic job of capturing all that was romantic and fun about the wedding. Jay & Becky, I am sure, are ecstatic that they found you as a photographer!
Spectacular work as usual! I’m sure the bride and groom are just thrilled 🙂
Dear Melissa,
Stunning, stunning, stunning!!!
What an artist you are to have captured the beauty and emotion of Jason and Becky’s day. Today is my 25th wedding anniversary and I want to get married again to my husband just so you can do our wedding photos! You are truly gifted, and took pictures of many beautiful moments that will become treasured memories. You’re awesome!
