I spent this afternoon setting up for this year’s “spring” bridal show … though there’s nothing “spring” about these temperatures!  Nevertheless, this event is always so much fun, and if you’re a bride planning your wedding you are not going to want to miss all of the awesome vendors at this show.  Come and visit us this weekend (Saturday and Sunday), 11:00 to 5:00 at the Hamilton Convention Centre.  Admission is $12.00 at the door … BUT, you can score $2.00 off by printing out this coupon and bringing it with you. Fashion shows are at 1:00 and 3:30.

Some bridal show tips for first time goers:
1. Wear comfortable shoes!! (and if your feet need a little break I have a couple of chairs in my booth that I’m willing to share)
2. Bring at least one solid canvas bag that you can carry on your shoulder … you will be collecting lots of stuff that gets quite heavy including magazines, booklets and free samples.
3. If you plan to enter draws bring pre-printed address labels containing both of your names, your contact information (email and phone number) and your wedding date.  Filling out a hundred ballots by hand is just a pain in the rear, plus you also avoid possibly winning something and not being notified because of messy penmanship, lol!

As always I will be doing a draw for $500 off your wedding package, so if you’re still in need of a photographer it’s a great opportunity to save some money.  : )
