This past weekend I had the pleasure of sharing in Katherine and Adam’s gorgeous wedding day.  Katherine reminds me very much of myself … very A-type personality, organized, detail-oriented, and she knows what she wants … we definitely speak the same language!  The beauty in this wedding was evident at every turn.  All of the finishing touches were just perfect … including Katherine’s gorgeous Vera Wang gown ….

The girls all got ready at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel in Mississauga.  Bright spacious rooms with modern neutral colours … the perfect space for getting ready photos.  I also adored the bridesmaids black lace gowns … very classy!!

Quiet little Thomas was quite the ham all day long … he always kept us laughing. : )  For just shy of 2 years old he did an awesome job!!

Then Shawn and I headed over to the venue, McMichael Art Gallery in Vaughan where Adam and the guys were getting ready.  Katherine comes from a family of artists, so this was the perfect choice of venue for their big day … not to mention it’s breathtaking inside and out!

Adam was very specific about these purple argyle socks (so Katherine tells me) … and I thought they were the perfect touch of personality (since these guys had plenty of it).  This group had me in stitches most of the day!!

Little Thomas was not too happy about walking down the aisle … but it sure did put a smile on everyone else’s faces, lol.

Due to the unpredictable weather last weekend the ceremony was moved inside.  This gallery has so much character … a gorgeous backdrop for an intimate ceremony.

After it was official, we went outside for some more pictures.  The golden light was just gorgeous as the sun was slowly setting.

I’m definitely a woman, cuz I just can’t get enough of these awesome shoes!!! … According to the girls they were less than comfortable, but that’s usually how it goes, right?  The higher they are on the cute scale the more painful they are, hehe.

I had to post just a couple “outtakes” …. because I wouldn’t be staying true to Katherine and Adam if I didn’t.  The outtake reel for this wedding is going to be extensive … and I will be smiling the whole time I’m editing it!

As photos and cocktail hour wrapped up we commenced the reception.  The delicious food was catered by Presidential Gourmet of Toronto and tasted as good as, if not better than it looked … and man did it look good!

Cake and cupcakes were made by Dolled Up Cupcakes in Mississauga … complete with custom toppers for the bride and groom.

Adam and Katherine I had such a fantastic time working with you and I’m so honoured that you chose me to capture your special day!  I wish you nothing but happiness in your marriage and your lives together!
