After many years of having the same booth setup for bridal shows I decided this year it was time for a change. I had really big ideas … a complete overhaul … I thought it wasn’t possible and that I was out of my mind. I brought the ideas to my hubby and he said … “is it crazy … yes! but is it possible … yes.” And then we got to work.
After 3 long months of planning and building and shopping and measuring and testing and revising and shopping some more … it is finally time for my brand new booth to make it’s debut tomorrow at the Hamilton-Halton Fall Wedding Show.
If you’re planning on attending the show or know someone who is, please tell them to be sure to stop by and say hello! You can’t miss me … I’m the one with ALL THE LIGHTS … lol!
I will also be doing some new contests and giveaways this year … scroll down to find out more.
Every handout is complete with a coupon for 15% off the wedding package of you choice. All you have to do is come into the studio and chat with me within one month of the bridal show and the discount is yours … no strings attached. 🙂
The second bridal show perk is my all-new instagram contest. Simply get your photo taken in my booth and add the hashtag #hellomelissamiller. Get as many likes as you can to win $1000, ya you heard that right … ONE THOUSAND dollars off of your wedding package. There will be 3 winners, the two people with the most likes and the third winner will be chosen by random draw … so even if you don’t have a ton of followers it’s definitely worth entering!
The third giveaway I’m doing has also never been done before and it’s an Engagement mini-session freebie. Basically you get to try me for free!! Get a few adorable engagement photos, and hopefully fall in love with me in the process, hehe. I’ve also upgraded to an electronic system this year, so no more filling out ballots or bringing labels … it will all be done on a tablet. Yay technology!
Be sure to check my insta-stories tomorrow morning (Sunday, Sept. 23rd) as I will do a live walkthrough of the booth for you. These photos honestly don’t even do it justice …
Every detail was meticulously thought out and 85% of what you see was hand constructed by yours truly. All of the wood and framing was cut/stained/painted by hand. I wouldn’t have been able to execute the pipe structure without the dedication of my hubby and the linens (backdrop and runner) were lovingly sewn by my mother-in-law. My mom also put in countless hours of childcare so I could get all of the details completed on time.
A million thank-yous to all of you! Running your own business is like raising children, it truly does take a village.
And now I need to rest before my big day tomorrow!
Wish me luck!
